Co-founders Ana Sevo and Mitchell Palmer saw the gap firsthand. Ana, with over three decades of bookkeeping experience and deep MYOB expertise, knew exactly what finance professionals needed. Mitchell, with his background in technology and operations, knew how to build it.
Together, they created DataCartel - a platform that automates the tedious work like GST reconciliation and financial reporting, so professionals can focus on what matters most: advising their clients. A MYOB specialist since the platform's early days, she's helped countless Australian businesses with everything from GST implementation to high-end financial reporting. Now a CFO, Ana brings firsthand knowledge of what accountants and bookkeepers actually need.

Mitchell brings a unique blend of technology and operations expertise to DataCartel. With a Computer Science degree from Western Sydney University and experience ranging from cybersecurity to leading operations at major enterprises, he now serves as a COO. Mitchell combines his technical background with real-world business operations to build tools that actually work.
